Axcelerate Implementation
Project Overview
The Axcelerate Implementation project was undertaken to equip the schools with a modern, efficient Student Management System (SMS) capable of streamlining administrative tasks and ensuring seamless management of student and course-related data. Axcelerate was selected as the ideal solution to optimize operations and meet compliance requirements.
Core Features Implemented
The Axcelerate system was implemented to manage key operations effectively, including:
• Student Information and Records: Axcelerate centralizes and manages student information for easy access and accurate record-keeping.
• Course and Unit Enrolments: The system handles the creation and tracking of course and unit enrolments, simplifying the enrolment process.
• Government Reporting: Axcelerate automates the generation of government reports, ensuring the institution meets compliance requirements with portals like AVETMISS, TCSI, and VSL.
Data Migration Process
The successful implementation of Axcelerate involved migrating historical data from the school’s previous SMS. This included the comprehensive transfer of:
• Student details
• Course enrolments
• Unit of competencies and grades
• Financial records
• Government funding details
• Certificates and Statements of Attainment
This meticulous data migration ensured continuity of operations and a seamless transition to the new system.
Integration Capabilities
To enhance the school’s operational efficiency, Axcelerate was integrated with several key platforms:
• Learning Management Systems (LMS): Axcelerate was linked to Moodle for daily synchronization of enrolment and grade information. This two-way integration ensured that both systems remained updated in real time.
• Government Portals: Axcelerate automated reporting for compliance and funding purposes, integrating with portals such as AVETMISS, Partner Portal, TCSI, VSL, and USI. This ensured the accurate and timely submission of enrolment and completion data.
• Website Integration: Axcelerate stored and synchronized course descriptions and intake schedules for seamless display on the school’s website, ensuring prospective students had access to up-to-date information.
Certificate and Statement Generation
​As part of the project, Axcelerate was configured to automate the creation of Certificates and Statements of Attainment for students completing their courses. This feature simplified the certification process, ensuring timely and accurate issuance of official documents.

The implementation of Axcelerate transformed the school’s student management processes, delivering several key benefits:
• Operational Efficiency: Centralized student information, automated enrolments, and streamlined government reporting significantly reduced administrative workloads.

This feature helps track multiple versions of the units students are enrolled in. It ensures accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulatory requirements, especially for Registered Training Organizations (RTOs).
Academic Progress Tool:
This tool was designed to comply with international student visa requirements. It automates academic progress tracking, calculates performance, and generates notification letters to inform students when they fall behind in their studies.
• Rainbow Tool:
The Rainbow Tool organizes all student submissions by course and priority. Trainers use it to:
o Grade submissions efficiently.
o Identify assignments waiting the longest for review.
o Prioritize submissions from students nearing their course end dates.
